Are people really going to be…nude?

NO. We just have a sense of humor and wanted to make merch that made people wonder. Plus, it will likely be cold…dress accordingly. Great question tho ;)

How good at skiing or snowboarding do I need to be?

Whether you have skied for 15 years or 15 days, we would love to have you. We will help you choose gear to try based on your experience and preferences. You can decide where and how you ride. You can ride with other guests or your own friends/family. This space was created to make you feel comfortable no matter your skill level. We do suggest having been out on snow at least a few times and being comfortable getting on and off of chairlifts. You will be responsible for skiing/riding within your own comfort level. We will not have ski instructors at the demo.

Can my husband/boyfriend/buddy come? Or someone who does not identify as female?

Absolutely! Anyone is welcome at NEWD. The demo portion will be very focused on women’s specific gear so they may not want to purchase a full demo pass if this type of product is not their preferred gear style. However, anyone can ski alongside you all day with their own lift ticket. If they would like to enter the Vendor Village/Event Space and come to the Après Party you can purchase an Après Only Ticket for them.

Can I bring my kids?

Your family is welcome to ski with you. However, due to liability and availability, the demo equipment is only available in adult sizes. We would not recommend buying your kids a full demo pass unless they are a bit older and can fit adult-sized equipment. (For reference, the shortest ski length will be [TBD] and the smallest snowboard will be [TBD]. The Après Party will be in a bar environment. We will leave it up to the parents’ discretion to include their children. Wristbands for drinks will be provided to 21+ only.

Will you have ski or snowboard BOOTS?

NO. The demo will only be skis, snowboards, helmets and goggles. You will need to bring or rent your own boots. Rentals can be reserved HERE if needed.

Do I have to stay to the end to win a raffle prize?

Nope! As long as you clearly write your contact information on your raffle tickets, we can call you if you are a winner! We will do our best to coordinate a raffle handoff but you may be responsible for shipping costs if we are unable to find a meet-up spot.
